Moldova will maintain its official time zone, UTC+2, and will continue to apply the seasonal time change
The government approved the corresponding resolution at a meeting on February 25. Thus, on the last Sunday of March, Moldova will switch to daylight saving time: on the night from Saturday to Sunday (March 28 to 29), at 3:00 AM, clocks will be moved forward one hour, to 4:00 AM. Maintaining this system allows for synchronization with the practices of EU member states, an important aspect for a modern society in which economic activity, transportation, communications, and digital services must be timed consistently. The approved resolution does not imply any changes for citizens or businesses. //25.02.2026 – InfoMarket.
