SkyUp Airlines will launch a flight on the Chisinau-Athens route on May 19

They will operate twice a week: on Mondays and Fridays. According to the Moldovan Embassy in Greece, these flights from Chisinau to Athens will be in addition to the three flights per week currently operated by Aegean Airlines on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Moldovan Ambassador to Greece Andrei Popov thanked SkyUp and Athens Airport management for their decision to launch the new flight. He also called on travel agencies to promote Moldova as an attractive and welcoming developing tourist destination. Since April this year, SkyUp Airlines has been operating flights on the Chisinau-Crete/Heraklion route on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, as well as Chisinau-Cyprus/Larnaca on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. At the same time, on May 20, the company will launch a direct weekly flight on the Chisinau-Thessaloniki route on Tuesdays.
