According to the Moldovan Naval Agency, in January-March 2025, exports accounted for 54.9% of the total volume of cargo transshipped at the port, worth 341.1 million lei (grain, petroleum products, scrap metal, minerals, live animals, etc.). Imports accounted for 45.1% of the total volume of cargo handled at the port, worth 280.1 million lei (sand, gravel, petroleum products, coal, coke, minerals, etc.). In January-March 2025, the port complex in Giurgiulesti served a total of 309 vessels.
