Reconstruction of this section of the road started in April 2024, and the estimated completion date is October 2026. The modernization of the R33 road will directly contribute to the development of regional infrastructure, improve road safety, and enhance traffic conditions for both residents of the region and all road users. This project will contribute to the economic development of the region, improve transport efficiency, and reduce travel times, which will greatly benefit both road users and the local community. Earlier it was reported that the R33 Hincesti-Lapusna road will be repaired by the Turkish company ONUR. The repair of this section is part of the “Road Rehabilitation in Moldova IV” project worth €38.7 million, funded by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. // 05.05.2025 — InfoMarket
