Chisinau Airport administration announced this, noting that, in particular, SkyUp Airlines (an international brand with Ukrainian roots) will open its operating base in April, while Transavia, a well-known French low-cost airline, will operate important flights to Europe. From July, Wizz Air will base its second aircraft at Chisinau Airport, which means more destinations and flights for passengers. Also in 2025, the flight network from Chisinau Airport will be expanded with 10 new destinations: Bremen, Alicante, Thessaloniki, Palma de Mallorca, Katowice, Copenhagen, Lyon, Paris-Orly, Turin and Wroclaw. “These innovations will significantly diversify travel options for passengers from Moldova and will strengthen the role of Chisinau Airport as a starting point for many European destinations.
