The State Road Administration informed that a special commission, which included representatives of the above mentioned state administration, Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, National Inspectorate of Public Security, project organization and other interested persons, has determined that the works on the site were fully and qualitatively performed, in accordance with the project, technical task and acting norms. The works performed by ONUR Taahhut Tasimacilik Inşaat (Turkey), the contractor of the road section km 76+700 - km 94+700 and the bridge km 72+944 included road rehabilitation, construction of more than 9000 square meters of pavement, rehabilitation/reconstruction of 6 bridges, 26 footbridges, rainwater drainage systems, construction of bus stations. Also, to improve the safety of road users, road signs have been installed and more than 8 thousand square meters of thermal plastic road markings have been made, all in accordance with European standards. The length of the road section is 18 km, and the contract value is about 17 million euros, the money is provided by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
