The EBRD has approved an extension of a €100 million financing contract for the construction and repair of more than 85 km of roads in Moldova.

This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development Andrei Spinu, noting that thanks to loans from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, there will be four more European roads in Moldova. The money is intended for projects: rehabilitation and modernization of the section of the R14 road, Soroca - Arionesti, total 31 km; rehabilitation and modernization of the section of the R8.1 road from Arionesti to Otaci, only 9.4 km; rehabilitation works and related surveillance services on R33 Hincesti-Lapusna-M1, total 37.2 km (Circular road Cimislia); M3 construction of a bypass road in Vulcanesti, total length 8.58 km.
