A tender has been launched in Moldova for the purchase of consulting services for the technical supervision of the construction of a section of the M3 road Chisinau - Comrat - Giurgiulesti - the border with Romania (bypass road in Vulcanesti).

This was announced by the State Road Administration, noting that this contract is part of the Road Development Program, and financial assistance will be provided by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. In the context of ensuring quality control during the construction of the said section, a supervisory company will be subsequently selected, which will be assigned the role of "engineer" under the contract. As such, all eligible companies are requested to submit their applications within the stipulated deadline of 6 October. The contract for the execution of works provides for the construction of a new road with a length of about 8.58 km to the east and south of Vulcanesti. The international public tender will take place on the Online Procurement Portal (ECEPP) of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
