The one-off allowance of 1,000 lei for children in grades 1 through 9 can be obtained at Poșta Moldovei (Post of Moldova) branches or by bank card

Minister of Education and Research Dan Perciun specified that the payments approved by the government for the start of the school year for children in grades 1 to 9 can be obtained at any Poșta Moldovei branch upon presentation of an identity document, or by linking the allowance to a bank card by submitting a corresponding application to the bank, or, if an electronic signature is available, online via mcabinet.gov.md or the EVO app. Dan Perciun noted that the lists of beneficiaries are compiled by the educational institutions, but the money is paid directly to the parents or guardians of each child. It is worth noting that the National Social Insurance Office (CNAS) has provided detailed instructions on how to link the one-time payment to a bank card. It is expected that most of the payments will be transferred to bank cards. As a reminder, the government has allocated 300 million lei for the payment of this allowance by the start of the school year. A total of 297,111 children will receive assistance. The money can be collected from September 4 to December 26, after which the allowance will no longer be available. At the same time, applications for linking a bank account or other aspects can be submitted to the CNAS until November 14. //21.08.2025 – InfoMarket.
