This is provided for by an order signed by Health Minister Ala Nemerenco. According to the government, starting today, the Ministry of Health will organize and conduct chemotherapy treatment in district hospitals and in the Bălți Clinical Hospital. "We are bringing these procedures, which are not complicated to perform, closer to patients – to their place of residence, minimizing costs and discomfort from tiring trips to Chisinau. Local institutions, through local oncologists, will provide such treatment, with all drugs being supplied centrally.
