The NBM and USAID Moldova are resuming the “Make Sense of Money” podcast to provide citizens with more detailed information on financial and economic topics

As reported by the National Bank, in particular, the NBM and USAID Moldova are launching a new season of the “Make Sense of Money” podcast as part of the National Campaign “Financial Education for All”. This project aims to deepen the financial knowledge of the general public by facilitating access to important information on personal finances and the economy. The podcast will be hosted by Eugen Ghiletschi, Head of the Financial Sector Reforms Component within the USAID Moldova Structural and Institutional Reforms (MISRA) program, and the special guest will be Anca Dragu, President of the National Bank. In each episode, they will invite experts from the financial and economic sphere to discuss current topics, such as digitalization of payments, implementation of an instant payment system, bringing Moldova into line with European standards, as well as other topics of public interest. In the first episode of the new season of the podcast, the guest will be Dorel Noroc, President of the Moldovan Banking Association. In this episode, viewers will learn what is meant by the digital transformation of payments and how this process brings us closer to the standards of a modern society, as well as other useful information for making personal financial decisions. The podcast "Make Sense of Money" aims to offer an open and accessible discussion about the economic future of Moldova, emphasizing the importance of financial education accessible to everyone. The podcast will be available on the NBM website and social networks and will be broadcast every month on the public television Moldova 1. The first episode will be available on November 10 (18:30). In order to ensure maximum accessibility for all citizens, the podcast will also be broadcast on other platforms in the online environment. The national campaign "Financial Education for All" was launched last fall and is implemented by the NBM with the financial support of the USAID Moldova Structural and Institutional Reforms (MISRA) program.
