In Moldova will appear the Service for Monitoring and Analyzing of Drug Imports

The Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices announced that, starting in October, it will publish detailed and general information on drug imports to Moldova on a quarterly basis. The quarterly report will include the following data: total amount of drug imports at manufacturer prices (according to the National Catalog of Drug Prices), excluding products imported to the Transnistrian region; sales volume of local manufacturers; top 10 importers/distributors; top 10 manufacturers; top 10 international non-proprietary names. The information will be available on the agency’s official website, allowing citizens to obtain information on important and available drugs on the market. The publication of such data is aimed at better understanding the origin and availability of drugs on the local market, which will help protect and improve public health. In 2025, the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices plans to expand this service by providing personalized information for a fee upon request from manufacturers/importers.// 03.09.2024 – InfoMarket.
