The International Fair Bookfest 2024 will be held in Chisinau from August 28 to September 1

At the press conference on Monday, it was noted that for the 3rd year in a row, it will be held under the patronage of the President of Romania Klaus Iohannis and the President of Moldova Maia Sandu, with the support of the Department for Relations with the Republic of Moldova under the Government of Romania. All events within the fair are free for visitors and will be held daily in Medacor from 10:00 to 20:00. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet prominent cultural figures from Romania and Moldova, including Radu Paraschivescu, Cristian Tudor Popescu, Ioana Pârvulescu, Ionela Hadârcă, Radu Aldulescu, Cristian Preda, Mihaela Noroc, Liviu Stanescu, Bogdan Raileanu, Moni Stanila, Svetlana Cârstean, Emil Hossu-Longin, Ioan-Aurel Pop, Varujan Vosganian, Bogdan Cretu, Emilian Galaicu-Paun, Val Butnaru, Vitalie Ciobanu and many others.
