
In the first half of this year, the cost of medical care provided to refugees amounted to 19.7 million lei, of which 14 million were spent on hospital services
These are the data of the National Heath Insurance Company (CNAM), announced at a meeting with representatives of the World Health Organization Office in Moldova, International Organization for Migration, UN Children's Fund and UN Population Fund. In this context, the representatives of the international organizations stressed the need to identify additional funds to cover the medical assistance needed by the refugees. The sides also discussed the future implementation of a new mechanism of financing and reporting on the relevant expenses.
