Such data was presented by the Ministry of Education and Research, noting that according to the results of the first stage, 76% of the budget places allocated this year for training in the higher education system were filled. 3,158 students were enrolled in the master's program, with 85% of budget places occupied. At the same time, the State Institute of Medicine and Pharmacy named after N. Testemitanu, based on the results of the first round, covered all budget places. For the second round of admission in 2024, universities put up for competition 1,206 budget places for the first cycle (bachelor’s degree) and 334 budget places for the second cycle (master’s degree) in various specialties and areas. All other universities, including regional ones, continue to provide budget places for the second round.
