Three startups won grants of 50 thousand lei each within Bootcamp Dreamable
These are the results of the recent Dreamable Bootcamp, in which 30 young people participated. The Dreamable national pre-accelerator, realized in 3 phases, was designed to help Moldovan students learn about scalable startups and test their own technological business ideas. At the end of the event, which included offline training and individual mentoring, networking and collaboration with peers, etc., the top 10 teams presented their innovative solutions. The technology business ideas included the following areas: aviation technology, photography and film production, artificial intelligence and automation, healthcare, event management, social media, etc. Each team had only 3 minutes to present their technology startup and convince the jury that their idea was worthy of support. In the end, 3 teams became winners and received 50 thousand lei each to develop their projects. Among them are Naomi - a smart sleep mask that tracks sleep phases in real time and sets an alarm only when the body is biologically ready to wake up; Karlsson Delivery - an innovative startup that uses drones to ensure fast and efficient delivery of food and small parcels; Bloomsense - provides IoT solutions for agriculture, sending farmers the most important data directly to their cell phones for more efficient crop management. Meanwhile, other startup ideas were also highly commended at the final round: MyVedem, a mobile app that offers smart solutions for finding and exploring entertainment venues; Memento, a mobile and web app for monitoring events with friends and storing memories in photo and video format; L'eat, an app that helps users find specific dishes at nearby restaurants, provides detailed information and reviews, and allows businesses to advertise their special offers; Ecomeal, a platform that connects restaurants and grocery stores with consumers, enabling them to purchase unsold food at discounted prices, reducing food waste; MagicWish, an event wish list app that makes it easy to buy desired gifts from friends and family; Ai Pilot Eye, a visual traffic identification and collision avoidance system for general aviation pilots that supports and enhances artificial intelligence capabilities; HelpMe, an online platform to Dreamable is a pre-accelerator organized in a special edition by Dreamups and Orange Digital Center Moldova with the support of the USAID, Sweden and UK funded Future Technology Activity (FTA) project, with support from the Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund. // 29.08.2024 - InfoMarket
