These days, when the International Bookfest Chișinău 2024 is taking place in Moldova, everyone can see and read an interactive history map at the National Museum of History of Moldova. It is a huge installation dedicated to the history of writing in Moldova and the development of the book industry, from its origins to the digital revolution. It is 3 meters high and 4 meters wide. The interactive textbook was created using immersive technologies, projection mapping, virtual and augmented reality, etc. The book is available in Romanian and English. The installation is realized by Artcor Center with the support of the Ministry of Culture. It is 1 of 10 ideas realized in 2023-2024 under the Museums of the Future program, which is part of the Future Technologies Activity (FTA), funded by USAID, Sweden and the UK, as well as the USAID Rural Competitiveness and Resilience Activity. As a reminder, Bookfest Chișinău 2024 in Chisinau will last until September 1. // 30.08.2024 - InfoMarket.
