The energy vulnerability level will be assigned starting from November 26.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection specifies that the energy vulnerability levels of all applicants who submitted applications through the system compensatii.gov.md will be assigned starting from November 26, while unconfirmed applications should be corrected or clarified by citizens at the end of November - beginning of December, by logging into the personal cabinet on the platform. At the current stage, the system only checks the information included in the application, and if errors are found, citizens are informed about the need to correct the data. According to the Regulation approved by the Government, on the platform compensatii.gov.md all households can submit an application in 3 situations: if the main source of heating is district heating, natural gas or electricity; if the main source of heating is a solid fuel stove (wood, coal) and they benefited from assistance during the cold season in the previous cold season; if the main source of heating is a solid fuel stove (wood, coal) and the eligibility for assistance in the next cold season has been established. Households whose main source of heating is a solid fuel stove/boiler, but did not benefit from the assistance last year, should contact the social worker at their place of residence to apply for compensation. Starting from November 20, consumers in this situation will also be able to apply to a librarian or a specialist of the unified center of public services of the locality. The agency clarified that if the applicant has chosen a solid fuel stove/boiler as the main source of heating, but does not fall into any of the three situations described above, the application will not be checked by the system, respectively, he/she needs to go to the registrar to make an application.
