Moldova will improve the collection and analysis of data in the field of migration.

The government approved the concept of the automated information system "Migration". It will collect all data in the field of migration and asylum, information on apartides, on the integration of foreigners, on readmission. AIS "Migration" will generate statistics and reporting on the admission and stay of foreigners on the territory of Moldova, on granting asylum in the country, on the readmission of persons on the basis of international and bilateral agreements on readmission. Also, registration of foreigners who entered / left Moldova through the Transnistrian section of the Moldovan-Ukrainian border will be ensured. The new system will ensure the digitization of processes and improve the quality of services available to foreigners, individuals and legal entities. AIS "Migration" will exchange data with other state systems. The development, implementation and support of a new information system for 1 year will be provided at the expense of the project "Support for the protection, transit, voluntary return and reintegration of citizens from the Eastern Partnership countries and citizens of third countries affected by the conflict in Ukraine".
