International specialized exhibition Tourism & Travel Expo takes place from April 6 to 9 at Moldexpo.

According to the director of Moldexpo Carolina Chiperi, after a 3-year break due to the pandemic, the exhibition returns with the mission to promote inbound and domestic tourism. For four exhibition days, visitors will be able to get acquainted with tourist products and offers promoted under the national brand "Tree of Life" (Pomul Vieții), which brings together various enterprises in the tourism sector, including rural tourism, wine tourism, experience tourism, ecotourism, as well as regional development initiatives. The event will be attended by representatives of guest houses, wineries, rural experiences, easy adventures. In addition, 12 district councils will present unique tourist offerings of their regions, with an emphasis on authentic traditions and folklore, which can be interesting tourist attractions for both local public and foreign tourists. Craftsmen, guides and other representatives of the industry also participate in the exhibition. The exposition aims at capitalizing and highlighting small family businesses, artisans, other hospitality industry players and thus contributes to promoting the tourist regions of the country and increasing the interest of the local public in new destinations and tourist attractions in Moldova. At the same time, in the segment of outbound tourism, Bulgaria, Romania and Georgia present their offers. A "Parents' House" contest will be held within the frames of the exhibition and "Moldova Wine Road: three years of a successful start-up", common tourism products of Moldova and Romania will be demonstrated.
