
The minimum wage in the real sector in Moldova has increased since April 1; pensions and benefits were indexed as well as.
Since April 1, the guaranteed minimum wage in the real sector (in self-supporting enterprises, organizations, institutions regardless of ownership and legal form) is 20.71 lei per hour (3,500 lei per month), based on an average working time of 169 hours per month. So far, since January 2021, the minimum wage in the real sector of the economy has been set at 2,935 lei per month (17.37 lei per hour). At the same time, pensions and benefits will be indexed by 13.95% from this month, in accordance with the year-end inflation rate. After indexation, the size of the minimum old-age pension will make 2278.8 lei, the minimum severe disability pension - 1709.1 lei, pronounced disability pension - 1595.16 lei, medium disability pension - 1139.4 lei. Pensions will also be indexed for civil servants, customs officers and judges, benefits and monetary compensation for participants in the liquidation of the Chernobyl accident, pensions for military personnel and commanders and troops of the internal affairs bodies and the General Inspectorate of the Carabineers.
