More than 522.1 thousand people receive old-age pensions, the average amount of which per person was 2269 lei. The average size of a disability pension amounted to 1573 lei (more than 114.3 thousand beneficiaries); loss of a breadwinner - 1717 lei (almost 11 thousand people); for the length of service - 1053 lei (46 people); pensions for some categories of civil aviation workers - 10471 lei (483 people); participants in the liquidation of the consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant - 4178 lei (1596 people); conscripts and members of their families - 1820 lei (724 people); to certain categories of cultural workers - 1660 lei (33 people); early retirement pension - 2567 lei (1367 persons); other categories of pensioners - 5463 lei (over 27.7 thousand people).
