According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, today there are 151,145 doses of coronavirus vaccines in our country. In municipal and regional hospitals, 80% of staff were immunized, as a result of which the incidence of COVID-19 among health workers decreased by more than 85%. To date, Moldova has received 684 thousand 970 doses of vaccines against coronavirus: 266 thousand 400 doses of AstraZeneca, 142 thousand doses of Sputnik V, 152 thousand doses of Sinopharm, 100 thousand doses of Sinovac, as well as 24 thousand 570 doses of Pfizer. The first dose of AstraZeneca was received by 118 thousand 214 citizens, Sputnik V - 1 thousand 167, Pfizer - 12 thousand 431, and Sinopharm - 875 people. The second dose of AstraZeneca was received by 5 thousand 774 citizens, Pfizer - 11 thousand 990, Sinopharm - 694. The vaccination rate in Moldova is higher than in Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ukraine, Georgia and Kyrgyzstan. In total, 1265 people (0.83% of the number of vaccinated) showed side effects: 96% had mild (temperature up to 38.5 degrees, muscle pain, etc.), and 4% had moderate (temperature above 38.5 degrees, allergies, etc.).
