According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, over the past 24 hours, following the results of 620 tests, the virus was confirmed in another 43 people (7%), with not a single new case in Chisinau municipality. Since the beginning of the pandemic in Moldova, the virus has been confirmed in 251,378 people, more than 96% of whom have recovered. At the same time, over a year since the beginning of the pandemic, 5,850 people died from complications caused by the virus (2.3% of the total number of cases). Over the past day, 12 more people aged 57 to 83 have died from complications caused by COVID-19. Currently, 4,108 people are sick with coronavirus in Moldova, of which 1,670 are being treated in the country's medical institutions. The condition of 199 patients is assessed as extremely serious, 28 patients are connected to ventilators. Also, the campaign for immunization against COVID-19 continues, to date, more than 147 thousand people have received the vaccine; more than 17 thousand of them have received both doses of the vaccine.
