In Moldova, the price of purchase and sale of land for construction will be adjusted depending on their location.
This is provided for by a relevant bill on the sale and purchase prices of land intended for construction, which Parliament adopted in the first reading. According to the document, the sale price should be adjusted depending on the location of the land. In accordance with the draft law, it will be allowed to apply the following coefficients when setting the standard price of land free for construction and intended for this purpose, except for land in the municipality of Chisinau: 0.7 - for the municipalities of Balti, Bender, Tiraspol and 0.5 - for settlements included in their composition; 0.6 - for the cities of Cahul, Causeni, Comrat, Edinet, Hincesti, Orhei, Ribnita, Soroca, Ungheni, Anenii Noi, Criuleni, Ialoveni, Straseni; 0.5 - for other cities; 0.1 - for villages (communes). One of the authors of the bill, MP Ersilia Qatrawi noted that the proposed changes will encourage economic agents to invest more in small towns. “Through this mechanism, we really want to attract foreign investors to invest in rural areas, create new jobs and make the land valuation report functional,” the deputy said. // 29.12.2022 — InfoMarket
