The rent for the use of some state lands may increase in Moldova.
The relevant draft law was approved by the Parliament in the first reading. According to the document, the rent for the use of state-owned land plots will be determined based on the market price of the land. The legislative amendments provide for the establishment of the market value as a criterion for determining the price of sale or lease of land, with the normative price of land becoming a secondary criterion for determining its value. Another amendment concerns the regulation of the relations of leasing/renting state-owned land plots and those managed by administrative and territorial units. The document also stipulates that immovable property cannot be privatized without an adjacent land plot. "There will be a comprehensive assessment of all property, respectively building and land, and the auction will include the whole property, not just part of it," explained the chairman of the Commission on Agriculture and Food Industry Alexandr Trubca. According to him, the aim of the project is to create a coherent regulatory framework regulating the relations of lease and sale of state-owned land. // 09.12.2022 – InfoMarket
