As reported by the National Center for Sustainable Energy, in the next 12 months, Moldova will create an information system for developing and issuing energy efficiency certificates for buildings. A contract worth $496,000 was signed on March 11. The development of this system is part of the Sustainable Transition through Energy Efficiency in Moldova (STEEM) project, financed by the World Bank.
