Retail prices for gasoline and diesel fuel continue to decrease in Moldova amid the fall of their prices on world markets to the lowest level in the last 5 years - NAER
The National Agency for Energy Regulation (NAER) reported this, noting that the trade war unleashed by the United States against its partners, primarily China, as well as the unexpected statement of OPEC+ on the continuation of plans to increase oil production caused a real storm on the international markets of oil and “oil” derivatives. As a result, the price of Brent crude oil, as well as prices for gasoline and diesel Platts collapsed to the lowest level in the last 5 years. For the next three days, from April 12 to April 14, NAER set the maximum retail prices of basic standard oil products at the following levels: for gasoline COR 95 - 23.02 lei/liter (-16 bani); for standard diesel 19.15 lei/liter - (-15 bani). NAER notes that it will continue to strictly control the market of oil products, ensuring transparency and fairness of pricing, as well as protecting the interests of consumers. // 11.04.2025 - InfoMarket.
