
Electricity consumption on the right bank of the Dniester on February 6 reached 15 million 444 thousand kWh, 0.3% more than the day before
The Government Crisis Cell, the Ministry of Energy and Moldelectrica reported this, noting that more than 59% of this consumption was covered by electricity imports from Romania, with the need being fully covered on the basis of commercial contracts, without activation of emergency contracts. Specifically, electricity consumption on February 6 was covered by the following sources: electricity imports from Romania - 59.17% of the total, Termoelectrica - 29.28%, renewable energy - 6.84%, CET-Nord - 4.11%, Costesti HPP - 0.61%. Consumers are urged to save electricity during peak hours (07:00-11:00 and 18:00-23:00) to reduce bills and ensure the stability of the energy system. Electricity consumption on the left bank of the Dniester on February 6 amounted to 3 million 574 thousand kWh against 3 million 362 thousand kWh the day before. // 07.02.2025 - InfoMarket
