Energocom purchased and supplied over 11 million cubic meters of gas to consumers in Transnistria in the first 5 days of February, at the request of Tiraspoltransgaz.
This was reported by the said state-owned company, noting that, in particular, from 1 to 3 February, 5 million 725 thousand cubic meters of gas were supplied to the eastern regions of Moldova (the Transnistrian region), 2.7 million cubic meters of gas on 4 February, and 2.85 million cubic meters of gas on 5 February. Energocom emphasizes that natural gas for Transnistria is purchased on the Romanian and Bulgarian exchanges using funds from an emergency grant provided by the European Union to Moldova to overcome the energy crisis. According to the decision of the Commission for Emergency Situations, from 1 February, the volumes requested by Tiraspol daily should not exceed 3 million cubic meters.// 05.02.2025 — InfoMarket
