The French Development Agency (AFD) is ready to support the heat and power sector in Chisinau and the modernization of Termoelectrica.

AFD representatives announced this at a meeting with the management of Termoelectrica. During the dialogue, Interim General Director of Termoelectrica Iurie Razlovan spoke about the history of the company, already implemented and ongoing projects, and presented the vision for the development of Termoelectrica. The main topics of discussion concerned the prospects for modernizing the enterprise, infrastructure for the production and provision of services for the supply of heat energy, rehabilitation of heating networks, installation of individual heating stations, etc. Representatives of the French Development Agency showed interest and confirmed their commitment to the involvement and support of the heat and power sector of the municipality of Chisinau. Iuri Razlovan reiterated that Termoelectrica management stands for diversification of production sources, reliability and provision of quality services and such a partnership with the French side is valuable and will have a beneficial effect on consumers, in particular, as well as on the heat and power sector in general.
