
Energocom will purchase 310,904 MWh of electricity from Moldavskaya GRES in July 2024 (more than 85.3% of the required volume).
The state-run company announced this, informing about the approval of the electricity supply schedule from Moldavskaya GRES for July. As noted, in July Energocom will purchase a total of 364,810 MWh of electricity for consumers on the right bank of the Dniester. At the same time, about 310904 MWh will be purchased from Moldavskaya GRES, located in the Transnistria region and owned by the Russian company Inter RAO. According to the forecast, about 30,750 MWh (8.4% of the total) will be purchased from the Romanian OPCOM exchange, in particular during peak hours. It is estimated that another 23,155 MWh (6.3% of the total) will be generated from electricity produced by thermal power plants in Chisinau and Balti and renewable energy installations that have contracts with the central electricity supplier.
