According to the United Unit for Implementation and Monitoring of Energy Projects' Director Ruslan Surugiu, the stage of preparing design documentation for construction work is as important as it is complex. “This stage involves detailed development of the technical information, instructions and specifications necessary to ensure that construction work is carried out correctly and in accordance with quality standards, which implies an increased degree of responsibility,” he said. The estimated period for developing technical documentation for the 5 specified medical institutions is up to 10 months. The energy efficiency project in Moldova is one of the largest national level projects to improve the energy efficiency of public buildings implemented so far.
