The international tender for the development of technical documentation for construction work within the framework of the Energy Efficiency Project in Moldova received 6 proposals from companies from Moldova and Germany.

This was announced by the Ministry of Energy and the United Unit for Implementation and Monitoring of Energy Projects (UCIPE), noting that, in accordance with procurement procedures, after the evaluation of technical proposals, financial proposals must also be opened. In this case, only financial proposals of participants who have achieved the minimum score after evaluation of their technical proposals will be opened. The corresponding tender includes 4 lots (5 medical institutions), the purpose of which is to conclude an agreement for the provision of services for the development of technical documentation for performing work on thermal rehabilitation of buildings in the following medical institutions: Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery, Republican Center for Medical Diagnostics/Institute of Phthisiopulmonology, Institute of Cardiology, Psychiatric Clinical hospital. According to the United Unit for Implementation and Monitoring of Energy Projects' Director Ruslan Surugiu, the stage of preparing design documentation for construction work is as important as it is complex. “This stage involves detailed development of the technical information, instructions and specifications necessary to ensure that construction work is carried out correctly and in accordance with quality standards, which implies an increased degree of responsibility,” he said. The estimated period for developing technical documentation for the 5 specified medical institutions is up to 10 months. The energy efficiency project in Moldova is one of the largest national level projects to improve the energy efficiency of public buildings implemented so far. The cost of investment in the project is about 76 million euros. // 08.02.2024 – InfoMarket
