In Chisinau, the tariff for heat supplied by Termoelectrica has been reduced by 493 lei (-15.1%) - from 3267 to 2774 lei per gigacalorie (without VAT).

This decision was adopted by the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) at a meeting on Friday. The last time the Termoelectrica heat tariff was revised on June 27, when it was reduced by 310 lei (-9%) - from 3577 to 3267 lei per gigacalorie. In the first ten days of December, Termoelectrica proposed to reduce the tariff for heat energy supplied to the capital's consumers by 15% - from 3267 to 2783 lei per gigacalorie. Termoelectrica head Iurie Razlovan said that the request for a 15% reduction of the heating tariff, submitted to ANRE, was elaborated taking into account the new methodology of tariff and price calculation, approved by ANRE in October this year, and taking into account the reduction of the forecasted average gas price for 2024, compared to the price included in the current tariff. In 2023, the tariffs for heat supplied by Termoelectrica were adjusted twice: in February, ANRE approved a 25.3% tariff increase, to 3,577 lei per gigacalorie, and in June, the tariff was reduced by 3,267 lei per gigacalorie. // 22.12.2023 - InfoMarket.
