In Chisinau, the tariff for heat from the Termoelectrica enterprise is planned to be reduced by 493 lei (15.1%) - from 3267 to 2774 lei per gigacalorie (excluding VAT).

This is provided for by the draft resolution of the National Agency for Energy Regulation, which the regulator plans to discuss and adopt at its meeting on December 22. The last time the tariff for heat energy from Termoelectrica was revised was on June 27, reducing it by 310 lei (-9%) - from 3577 to 3267 lei per gigacalorie. In the first ten days of December, the Termoelectrica company proposed reducing the tariff for heat energy supplied to consumers in the capital by 15% - from 3267 to 2783 lei per gigacalorie. The head of Termoelectrica, Iurie Razlovan, noted that the request submitted to NAER for a 15% reduction in the heating tariff for residents of the capital was developed taking into account the new methodology for calculating tariffs and prices, approved by NAER in October this year, and taking into account the reduction in the projected average gas price for 2024, compared to the price included in the current tariff. In 2023, tariffs for heat energy supplied by Termoelectrica were adjusted twice: in February, NAER approved an increase in the tariff by 25.3% - to 3577 lei per gigacalorie, and in June the tariff was reduced by 310 lei (-9%) - to 3267 lei per gigacalorie. // 20.12.2023 — InfoMarket
