The gas tariff for consumers of Moldova served by Rotalin Gaz Trading may amount to 11.8 lei per 1 cubic meter, including VAT.

This follows from the published draft decision of the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE). According to the draft decision of ANRE, household consumers - customers of Rotalin Gaz Trading will pay 10.928 lei for gas without VAT (11.8 lei with VAT). At the same time, the gas tariff for household consumers of Moldovagaz, which supplies gas to the vast majority of the country's consumers, is 18.07 lei including VAT. Rotalin Gaz Trading owns gas distribution networks in 5 central districts of the country (Hincesti, Straseni, Ialoveni, Causeni, Stefan-Voda) and serves more than 20 thousand consumers. Earlier, Rotalin Gaz Trading supplied gas to consumers at tariffs approved for Moldovagaz, but on July 24 this year, the company applied to ANRE for the first time for approval of its fixed gas tariffs. At the same time, the company requested a price of 10.494 lei for consumers connected to low-pressure networks (household consumers), which is 0.43 lei less than the price indicated in ANRE's draft decision. The energy regulator will set fixed tariffs for this company for the first time. Rotalin Gaz Trading is the second largest (after Moldovagaz) gas supplier on the Moldovan market, with a 3-4% share. Moldovagaz Board Chairman Vadim Ceban told reporters that the company does not plan to apply to ANRE for tariff reduction, as it has not yet returned all tariff deviations and is waiting for the forecast of gas purchase prices for the fall and winter months. // 09.08.2023 - InfoMarket.
