At the same time, the volume of electricity purchase from domestic producers in physical terms in January-March 2023, compared to the same period of the previous year, decreased by 13.8% - to 364 million kWh of electricity, but in monetary terms - increased by 41% - to 1 billion 435.3 million lei. At the same time, 652.7 million kWh worth 970.1 million lei were bought from Romania, Ukraine and Moldavskaya GRES in the first quarter of 2023, which is 10.6% less in physical terms, but 36.8% more in value terms as compared to the same period of 2022. At the same time, the share of electricity purchase on the domestic market decreased from 36.6% to 35.8% over the year, while from Romania, Ukraine and Moldavskaya GRES, respectively, increased from 63.4% to 64.2% of the total. According to ANRE, in particular, in January-March 2023, Premier Energy purchased 745.4 million kWh of electric energy (-12.6% relative to the same period of 2022) worth 1 billion 774.8 million lei (+39.5%), FEE Nord – 243/3 million kWh (-18.9%) for 594.7 million lei (+30.7%), other suppliers - 28 million kWh (up 280 times) for 35.9 million lei (up 359 times). In particular, Premier Energy bought 238.1 million kWh from domestic producers in January-March 2023 (-18.3%) for 1 billion 020.5 million lei (+40.2%), and from Romania, Ukraine and MoldGRES – 507.3 million kWh (-9.6%) for 754.3 million lei (+38.6%). In turn, FEE Nord purchased from domestic producers 97.9 million kWh (-25%) for 378.9 million lei (+30.5%), and from Romania, Ukraine and MoldGRES - 145.4 million kWh (-14.2%) for 215.8 million lei (+31%).
