Energocom and BRM East Energy have signed an agreement to carry out gas transactions through the Trading Platform operated by BRM East Energy.

This was announced by the Moldovan state-owned company, noting that BRM East Energy is a division of the Romanian Commodity Exchange (Bursa Română de Mărfuri - BRM), the oldest private operator of centralized commodity trading floors in Romania. It is emphasized that Energocom and BRM East Energy have signed an agreement to participate in the spot market, as well as the medium and long-term market for standardized products through the Trading Platform operated by BRM East Energy. This will allow Energocom to conduct natural gas transactions on the Moldovan market transparently, at market prices and in line with European best practices. The activity of the natural gas trading platform in Moldova offers all economic operators in this area the opportunity to buy and trade natural gas, ensuring the transparency of purchases, the correctness of prices, as well as the stable operation of the wholesale natural gas market in Moldova. It should be noted that earlier BRM East Energy signed a similar document with Moldovatransgaz.// 12.05.2023 — InfoMarket.
