Carolina Novac, state secretary of the Ministry of Energy announced this, noting that, in addition, the government will support investments in thermal power plants in order to balance the grid and keep it stable. Carolina Novac said the Energy Ministry encourages local public authorities to invest in improving the energy efficiency of public buildings and it is open to dialogue in case of possible bureaucratic barriers or obstacles regarding the operation or installation of parks and renewable energy plants. During her visit to the Criuleni district, the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Energy spoke with the deputy chairman of the district, Alexandru Cartin, with the mayors and entrepreneurs in the area and with those who want to invest in green energy. Afterwards, Carolina Novac visited the 2.8 MW photovoltaic park in Criuleni, built with the support of the Chinese government and run by the district council. She also visited the village of Hirtopul Mare, where one company has installed 5 wind turbines.
