Moldova will announce a tender for large investors to install large capacities of renewable energy sources by the end of 2023.
Energy Minister Victor Parlicov announced this in an interview with AGERPRES news agency, noting that the tender, according to the schedule, is to be launched in the fourth quarter. "At this stage the matter concerns the production of 100 MW of wind energy and about 50 MW of solar energy. If everything goes according to schedule, I think that this tender will be launched in the fourth quarter of this year, and next year we will be able to see the first results," said the head of the Ministry of Energy. According to him, the matter concerns the implementation of projects financed by private funds. "Investment projects from private funding. The state only comes with support mechanisms and guarantees the purchase of this energy for a certain period of time, with a fixed price, which, in fact, is stated by the bidder in this auction. The one who offers the best price gets the status of an eligible producer, which will enable him to supply electricity to the grid at a predetermined price for 15 years," said Victor Parlicov. //23.03.2023 - InfoMarket.
