Gazprom will supply 56.5% less natural gas to Moldova from December 1 than the contract with Moldovagaz envisages.
The state secretary of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development Constantin Borosan announced this on his social network page. He noted that the Russian concern Gazprom has not booked additional capacity for the transportation of additional volumes of gas in December at the operator of the gas transmission system of Ukraine, which means that only 5.7 million cubic meters of gas per day will be still supplied to Moldova. Constantin Borosan said that presently Gazprom has booked only 5.7 million cubic meters of gas per day in the period from October 2022 to September 2023, of which 1.2 million cubic meters per day are booked for the Oleksiivka gas exit point and 4.5 million cubic meters per day for the Grebenyky exit point. "Currently, only transport capacities booked in the annual auction are used. Thus, starting with December 1, 2022, natural gas supplies from Gazprom to Moldova will be reduced by 56.5% in December 2022, based on the volume of natural gas agreed upon between Moldovagaz and Gazprom for December, according to the natural gas supply contract (189 million cubic meters - right bank and 217 million cubic meters - left bank). //22.11.2022 - InfoMarket.
