Gazprom will deliver to the right bank of the Dniester in November 54 million cubic meters of gas out of the required 77 million cubic meters, which is 70% of the required gas volume.
This was stated by Chairman of the Board of Moldovagaz, Vadim Ceban, who said that other suppliers would meet the gas shortage of 23 million cubic meters. He noted that the purchasing price will be lower than it is now and will be equal to approximately $1 thousand per 1,000 cu. m. of gas. Vadim Ceban also said that discussions with Gazprom are ongoing. Moldovagaz is waiting for a letter from the Russian gas holding to confirm the volume of gas supplies in November. The final decision will be announced by October 31. The head of Moldovagaz said he remains optimistic and does not believe in the scenario that Gazprom will completely stop supplying gas to Moldova. "The most probable is that there will be the same volumes as in October - 5.4 million cubic meters of gas per day. This is the base case scenario. Accordingly, the most optimistic scenario is covering all the required volumes of gas," said Vadim Cheban. It is worth mentioning that Gazprom also supplied 30% less gas to Moldova in October. // 28.10.2022 - InfoMarket
