Premier Energy and FEE Nord have requested that ANRE raise electric rates for all customer categories.

Premier Energy and FEE Nord have requested that ANRE raise electric rates for all customer categories.

According to Premier Energy's request, published on the website of the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE), the rate for residential consumers, whose electricity installations are connected to low voltage (0.4 kV) distribution networks, is proposed to increase by 22.7% - from 2.64 to 3.24 lei/kWh. The cost of electricity for Premier Energy consumers whose electrical installations are connected to high voltage distribution grids (35; 110 kV) may increase from 2.16 to 2.77 lei/kWh (+28.2%), and for consumers whose electrical installations are connected to medium voltage distribution grids (6; 10 kV) - from 2.3 to 2.9 lei/kWh (+26.1%). The cost of electricity at the entry points of Premier Energy's transmission network may increase from 2 to 2.6 lei/kWh (+30%), and at the exit points of the transmission network - from 2.14 to 2.74 bani/kWh (+28%). At the same time, FEE Nord requests a 31.4% increase - from 2.86 to 3.76 lei/kWh - for residential consumers whose electrical installations are connected to low voltage (0.4 kV) distribution power grids, and 42.1% increase - from 2.23 to 3.17 lei/kWh for end consumers whose electrical installations are connected to medium voltage (6; 10 kV) distribution power grids. FEE Nord asks for an increase in the tariff for electricity supply at points of entry into transmission networks from 1.9 to 2.87 lei/kWh (+51%), and at points of exit from transmission networks from 2.05 to 3.01 bani/kWh (+46.8%). The companies argue the increase in tariffs for supplying electricity to consumers by the increased selling price of electricity supplied by the central supplier, higher purchase prices for electricity, and the depreciation of the national currency (MDL) against the USD. It should be noted that if ANRE approves the requests of enterprises, the electric power tariffs in Moldova will be increased for the third time in 2022. The last adjustment of electric power tariffs for final consumers of Moldova was done on June 10, 2012 when tariffs were increased by 21.6% and 13.9% for Premier Energy and Furnizare Energie Electrică Nord residential consumers respectively. As of April 1, Premier Energy's residential customers were subject to a 43.7% increase, while FEE Nord's rate was increased by 23%. // 06.10.2022 – InfoMarket
