UNDP Moldova will provide $40 thousand for the development of the "Energy Vulnerability Information System" (SIVE).
The Government has approved the SIVE concept, through which household consumers will be assigned one or another vulnerability category. The system will ensure an automated centralized registration of applicants and recipients of compensations, as well as energy suppliers (natural gas, electric and thermal energy suppliers). Consumers will receive compensation directly in the invoice, by reducing the amount to be paid, respectively, final consumers will not receive compensation in money. Compensations will be provided based on the vulnerability profile of each consumer; the amount of compensation will be set by the government, depending on energy prices. The SIVE system will be integrated with other information systems (the State Register of Population, the information system of the State Tax Service, the "Social Protection" system of the National Social Insurance Agency, etc.), which will allow, using data on applicants, to check the correctness of the information they enter. The interface of the system will be available in two languages - Romanian and Russian, and the graphic design of the system will be adaptable to most of the devices used (computer, laptop, tablet, smartphone). The online platform will allow the registration and processing of consumers' applications for energy reimbursement. The concept of the system describes its main sections, organizational, information and technological space, incoming and outgoing documents, the order of ensuring information security, etc. The system will be developed with the support of the UN Development Program, and from 2024 the annual cost of its support is estimated at 50 thousand lei. // 06.10.2022 - InfoMarket
