ANRE initiated a series of unscheduled inspections in some companies to find out the reason for the lack of fuel at some gas stations, especially diesel fuel.
The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) informs that the inspections were initiated due to the information that appeared in the public space about the lack of fuel at a number of gas stations. ANRE inspectors will have to compare the information received from gas stations with data on stocks in company warehouses in order to identify the reasons that led to the discontinuation of trade. It is also noted that in order to facilitate the logistics of state fuel supplies, ANRE, together with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, has established a daily mechanism for oil importers to provide information on transport units (tanks/cars) placed at state border crossing points. The received data is transmitted to the institutions responsible for determining the fastest and most effective measures to streamline the turnover of petroleum products so that the daily balance allows increasing the stocks in importers' warehouses. // 09.06.2022 - InfoMarket
