Termoelectrica will not raise heat tariffs.

Termoelectrica will not raise heat tariffs.

The head of the enterprise, Veaceslav Eni, said this at a meeting of the municipal services of Chisinau, noting that such rumors were circulating in connection with the implementation of the project to modernize two power units of Termocom. According to him, the need to modernize the power units is dictated by the expiration of their harmless operation. Termoelectrica, despite the fact that the company's accounts are blocked due to the lack of financial sources necessary for such investments, found a solution that was proposed to the government. According to Veaceslav Eni, the company for the first time implemented an ESCO-type project, which provided for the investment, according to the specification, from the investor's account with further repayment of the project cost by the company during the investment return period in accordance with the feasibility study (5-5.5 years). The head of Termoelectrica also said that on July 7, the company submitted to ANRE a draft calculation of the tariff for electricity and heat produced. The project envisages a decrease in the tariff for heat energy by about 100 lei and an increase in the tariff for electricity production by 6 bani. At the same time, there will be no impact on the tariff for end consumers. Veaceslav Eni clarified that since 2015, all Termoelectrica investments have led to savings, energy efficiency and allowed not to increase the tariff, at the same time, about 1 billion lei was paid in historical debt for gas during this period. // 29.07.2021 – InfoMarket
