There is no shortage of oil products in Moldova, fuel is imported within normal limits, and there are enough oil products in warehouses to fully meet the needs of all categories of consumers - ANRE.

The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) stated this while commenting on the information that appeared in the public space regarding the problems in supplying the Moldovan market with oil products. In this regard, ANRE made a number of clarifications, noting that the operators of the oil products market operate as usual and are currently adjusting their commercial policy in accordance with the new provisions of the Law on the Oil Products Market and the new Pricing Methodology for oil products. The statistics on the amount of fuel imported to Moldova is within the usual limits and do not signal risks. ANRE emphasizes that the total amount of oil products in the warehouses is sufficient to fully cover the needs of all categories of consumers. ANRE stated that it publicly provides all market participants with the necessary information to accurately know the maximum allowable price level. The energy regulator stressed that it will continue to monitor the situation and, if necessary, will intervene with all available tools in order to prevent shortages or deviations in the oil products market. //12.07.2021 - InfoMarket.
