
Imports of energy resources to Moldova in the first quarter of 2021 in monetary terms amounted to $ 194.8 million, having decreased by 6.2% compared to 2020.
As InfoMarket was informed in the National Bureau of Statistics, in particular, in January-March 2021, compared to the same period of the previous year, imports of oil and petroleum products in value terms increased by 3.3% - to $ 115.42 million, and natural gas - decreased by 8.7% - to $ 77.7 million. Supplies of coal, coke and briquettes over the same period decreased by 37.5% - to $ 1.69 million. The share of mineral fuel in the total volume of Moldovan imports in the first quarter of 2021 was 12.56% against 15.21% in the same period a year earlier. The import of energy resources took the 6th place in the total structure of product supplies to Moldova in January-March 2021.
