
Moldovagaz will return more than 304 million lei to non-residential consumers following the recalculation of the cost of gas consumed by them.
In particular, Moldovagaz started recalculating the cost of gas consumed by legal entities in the period from January 1 to March 16, 2018, for a total amount of 304.369 million lei (including VAT). The press service of the enterprise reported this, noting that the process will be completed within 4 months, starting in May this year. In the case of active legal entities (existing consumers), the total recalculation amount will be 98.573 million lei (including VAT). In May, it is planned to compensate 25.019 million lei, in June - 26.407 million lei, in July - 26.019 million lei, and in August - 21.127 million lei. At the same time, in the case of inactive legal entities (who were disconnected for non-payment, who terminated the supply agreement, who entered into insolvency proceedings, etc.), the total recalculation amount will reach 24.137 million lei (including VAT). In May, the compensation for this category of consumers will amount to 6.415 million lei, in June - 6.503 million lei, in July - 5.163 million lei, in August - 6.055 million lei. At the same time, the previously paid amounts to the enterprises of the heat and power complex will be compensated in May by a lump sum or through the repayment of debts and mutual obligations. In the case of Termoelectrica, the amount will be 161.355 million lei, and CET-Nord” - 20.303 million lei.
