
In Moldova, the volume of natural gas consumption in March 2021 amounted to 163.9 million cubic meters, which is 48.5% higher than the indicators for the same period in 2020.
This was reported by the press service of JSC Moldovagaz, noting that, at the same time, compared to February 2021, this figure decreased by 21.5 million cubic meters (-11.6%). Household consumers, as of March 31, 2021, repaid 94.3% of invoiced amounts for the current year, which is 4.1 percentage points higher than the indicators of the same period in 2020. In the case of non-residential consumers (legal entities), the share of payments reached 97.3%, with an increase of 1.7 percentage points. The level of payment for enterprises in the country's heat and power sector amounted to about 99.6% (-0.2 percentage points, compared to March 2020). During the reporting period, 505 points of consumption were disconnected from the network, the owners of which owed 4.623 million lei to the supplier. Herewith, 137 consumers were exposed to advance payments in connection with previously suspended supplies for non-payment of consumed natural gas on time. According to Moldovagaz, the total level of payment for natural gas consumed this year as of March 31, 2021 amounted to 1 billion 557 million lei and covered 96.9% of supplies. // 15.04.2021 — InfoMarket
